Local Currency. Details The purpose of our BC Receptionist/Customer Service Assistant will be: To contribute to the growth of the British Council Early Years Centre in Santiago through providing excellent customer service to current and future customers (parents and their children). Who we are and what we do in Chile: As one part of the work that we do in English, Education and the Arts, the British Council in Chile offers an English programme to young children through our EYPC (Early Years Partnership Centre). At this new, purpose-built centre in Vitacura, Santiago, we teach English to children from ages 2 to 9 using an attractive methodology based around play and fun. The English is brought alive even more through our partnership with Aardman Animations, and their cartoon characters, Shaun the Sheep and Timmy. The responsibilities of our next Receptionist/Customer Service Assistant will be (Please refer to the Role Description attached for further details): Responsible for providing a friendly welcome to parents and their children and for ensuring children are safe and looked after entering and leaving the centre. Responsible for responding to regular enquiries relating to the British Council. Responsible for responding to routine enquiries from customers and prospective customers about the courses.
